I have called Hamilton County home for over 25 years, and every week I am reminded why. The energy of a Saturday farmers market, the magic of live music on a warm evening, the pride families take in their communities. It is all here, and it is only getting better.
This week,Labor Day weekend takes center stage. The 14th annual Fishers Blues Fest fills the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater with blues, soul, and rock on Sep ️5-6,Stuckey Farm's Sunflower Festival runs through Sheridan's seven-acre field Sep ️5-7,and the Come and See Egyptian Festival returns to Carmel. Westfield hosts Jams at the Junction tonight(Sep ️4(),and Ruoff Music Center books Babymetal(Sep ️5()and Rob Zombie with Marilyn Manson(Sep ️6(). Hamilton County Restaurant Week runs through Sep ️6,so there is plenty of dining to explore before the season turns. Next weekend,Indiana's largest balloon festival,Jupiter Flights, lifts off at Conner Prairie, and by late September and October, fall festivals like Glow in the Park, the Headless Horseman Festival, and Sheridan's Harvest Moon Festival keep the calendar full. Whether you are thinking about making a move or already call this home,I would love to share what I know. No pressure, just genuine local knowledge from someone who lives it every day.
