The can't-miss picks for the week of July 16
The Hamilton County 4-H Fair runs Jul 16–20 at the Noblesville fairgrounds — five days of exhibits, animals, and family fun celebrating America's 250th birthday. John Mellencamp brings his Greatest Hits tour to Ruoff Music Center (Jul 18), and the ISO performs Back to the 80s at Conner Prairie (Jul 17). The Noblesville Street Dance returns to Federal Hill Commons (Jul 18), Monsoon Madness brings a pop-up water park to Holland Park in Fishers (Jul 18), and Farmers Markets are back across all four cities Saturday morning. Plus: free concerts continue at the Gazebo and NPD AMP all week, Tenderloin Tuesdays run through Jul 28, and Wicked: For Good screens at Midtown.
Hamilton County 4-H Fair
The beloved annual 4-H Fair returns with five days of exhibits, animals, contests, and family fun. Theme: "Celebrating America, 1776–2026." Open Flower Show on Saturday, youth pedal tractor pull Sunday at 2 PM, cornhole tournaments, and neon dance parties. Free admission.
John Mellencamp — Dancing Words Tour
Indiana's own John Mellencamp brings his Dancing Words Tour — The Greatest Hits to Ruoff Music Center. The small-town Indiana legend performs hits spanning four decades in a can't-miss summer evening concert.
Symphony on the Prairie — Back to the 80s
The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra performs the biggest hits of the 1980s under the open sky at Conner Prairie. A high-energy evening of synth-pop and arena rock classics. Gates open at 6 PM — bring a picnic.
Noblesville Street Dance
Noblesville Main Street's beloved annual Street Dance returns to Federal Hill Commons. Live music, dancing, food vendors, and small-town community spirit. Free admission.
This Weekend: July 10–12
Phish plays night two of their legendary three-night Ruoff residency (Jul 11), the ISO performs an Earth, Wind & Fire tribute at Conner Prairie (Jul 11), and Wicked screens free at Midtown Plaza (Jul 10). Farmers Markets return across Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville, and Arcadia on Saturday — and the Arcadia Farmer's Market kicks off Thursday evening. A packed weekend for music, markets, and community.
John Mellencamp — Dancing Words Tour
Indiana's own John Mellencamp brings his Greatest Hits tour to Ruoff Music Center for a summer evening concert. The small-town Indiana legend performs hits spanning four decades — Pink Houses, Jack & Diane, and more.
Symphony on the Prairie — Summer Breeze: Yacht Rock Classics
The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra performs smooth yacht rock classics under the open sky at Conner Prairie. Think Toto, Steely Dan, and Hall & Oates in a magical outdoor setting. Gates open at 6 PM.
Noblesville Street Dance
Noblesville Main Street's beloved annual Street Dance returns to Federal Hill Commons (temporarily relocated due to downtown construction). Live music, dancing, food vendors, and small-town community spirit. Free admission.
Monsoon Madness
Fishers' annual splash-tacular pop-up water park at Holland Park — giant waterslides, a mini-monsoon area for children, and live entertainment. Early access wristbands $20; free general admission noon–3 PM. Pre-registration required.
Hamilton County 4-H Fair

Carmel Farmers Market
Fresh local produce, baked goods, and artisan vendors gather each Saturday morning at Carter Green. A beloved community ritual since 1996 with 80+ Indiana-grown vendors. Arrive early for the best selection.
Fishers Farmers Market
Over 60 local vendors, live music, and family activities every Saturday. Fresh produce, artisan cheeses, baked goods, and prepared foods in the heart of Fishers' Nickel Plate District.
Noblesville Farmers Market
Fresh local produce, artisan goods, and family-friendly vibes every Saturday morning at Federal Hill Commons. A seasonal staple running May through October.

The Strokes come to Ruoff (Jul 15), the Heroes & Healing Music Festival brings Clayton Anderson to Federal Hill Commons (Jul 16), The Black Crowes + Whiskey Myers rock the Southern Hospitality Tour (Jul 17), John Mellencamp comes home (Jul 18), the Noblesville Street Dance fills Federal Hill Commons (Jul 18), and Monsoon Madness turns Holland Park into a splash paradise (Jul 18). Wicked: For Good — Movies at Midtown

NFL Flag Championships
The NFL Flag Football Championships come to Grand Park in Westfield — the nation's premier youth sports complex hosting championship games on July 26. A major national sporting event in our backyard.
Hilary Duff
Singer and actress Hilary Duff brings her Lucky Me Tour to Ruoff Music Center. A fun, high-energy evening of pop hits under the stars.
Symphony on the Prairie — Harry Potter in Concert
Music of Harry Potter: An Evening at Hogwarts — the ISO performs John Williams and Patrick Doyle's magical film scores under the open sky. A spellbinding evening for the whole family. Gates open at 6 PM.
Band of Horses + Dinosaur Jr.

5 Seconds of Summer
5 Seconds of Summer bring their Everyone's A Star! World Tour to Ruoff Music Center. High-energy pop-rock from the Australian group on a summer Saturday night.
Allen Stone
Soulful singer-songwriter Allen Stone brings his incredible vocals to the NPD AMP in Fishers. Gates open at 5:30 PM — a perfect Sunday evening of live soul and R&B.
Indianapolis Colts Training Camp
The Indianapolis Colts return to Grand Park in Westfield for training camp — free public practices, autograph opportunities, and the chance to watch the team prepare for the upcoming season.
Spark!Fishers Concert & Drone Show
The rescheduled Spark!Fishers concert and drone show lights up downtown Fishers after rain forced a postponement from June 27. Live music by Sixteen Candles followed by a spectacular drone light show over the Nickel Plate District.
Symphony on the Prairie — Always, Adele
The ISO performs the music of Adele under the open sky — a sweeping evening of soul, ballads, and pop anthems. Gates open at 6 PM.
Train — Drops of Jupiter: 25 Years

Hamilton County's dining scene keeps getting better. The Pretender just opened a Japanese Hi-Fi listening bar in Noblesville, Shake Shack and CAVA are headed to Clay Terrace in Carmel, a new Dairy Queen opened on 146th Street, Vicious Biscuit is serving in Fishers, Westfield Collective brings six restaurants under one roof, and Sun King Brewery's newest taproom is pouring in downtown Westfield. Plus, Westfield's $8M Restaurant Row project on Park Street is transforming the walkable dining corridor.
The Pretender
A Japanese-style Hi-Fi listening bar on Logan Street by Clancy's Hospitality. Opened July 2026 — curated small plates by chef Ricky Martinez, craft cocktails, and a state-of-the-art sound system. Noblesville's most exciting new dining concept.
Shake Shack & CAVA
Two national favorites are headed to Clay Terrace (14599 Clay Terrace Blvd), replacing the former Red Robin. Shake Shack's iconic burgers and CAVA's Mediterranean bowls are planned for Carmel — a major addition to the Hamilton County dining scene.
Dairy Queen
A brand-new Dairy Queen opened April 2026 at 7245 E 146th St in Carmel, operated by a local franchise group. Classic DQ treats,Blizzards, and hot eats just minutes from the Hamilton Town Center area.
SALT
A scratch-kitchen seafood destination at Carmel City Center with daily-flown-in fresh seafood, handmade pastas, and locally sourced steaks. Signature dishes include Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes, Chilean Sea Bass, and Lobster Mac and Cheese.
Vicious Biscuit
The acclaimed biscuit-and-gravy destination opened its first Indiana location at Delaware Plaza (8711 106th St) in early 2026. Creative Southern breakfast and brunch dishes that have locals lining up daily.
Westfield Collective
Brand-new dining and entertainment hub with six concepts under one roof: Bristol's Burgers, Roberto & Miguel's Mexican, Zaria Italian, Ms. Leilei's Chicken, District Creamery, and Fork & Fire.
Sun King Brewery — Westfield
Sun King's newest taproom and restaurant opened April 2026 in downtown Westfield (133 S Union St). Craft beers, creative pub fare, and a welcoming taproom atmosphere just steps from Grand Junction Plaza.
Westfield Restaurant Row
An $8 million Park Street improvement project broke ground in May 2026, transforming Westfield's Restaurant Row with wider sidewalks, better walkability, and room for festivals. Broad Ripple Seafood North is also planned for 231 Park St.
Cafe Patachou Nickel Plate
Beloved Indianapolis farm-to-table breakfast and lunch spot now in Fishers' Nickel Plate District (8654 E 116th St). Known for egg dishes, seasonal salads, and scratch-made everything.
Matador
Spanish tapas dining in Carmel's 1st on Main development. Authentic small plates, craft cocktails, and a vibrant atmosphere that's quickly become a local favorite since opening in late 2025.
The Union at Fishers District
Coming later in 2026: Cunningham Restaurant Group's two-story fine-dining concept and Flower Child's fast-casual healthy eats join the final phase of the Fishers District development.
9th Street Bistro
A chef-driven fine dining gem on the courthouse square with seasonal tasting menus and an intimate atmosphere. Noblesville's most romantic table.
Slapfish
The fourth Indiana location of this popular sustainable seafood chain opened on Carmel's Main Street in early 2026. Fish tacos, lobster rolls, and chowder in a fast-casual format.
Ben & Jerry's
A new Ben & Jerry's storefront opened in Carmel, bringing iconic Vermont ice cream flavors to the Hamilton Town Center area. A sweet stop for families and dessert lovers.
Paris Baguette
